A Romanian non-profit that counters disinformation by doing the opposite of it: reporting, carefully and with sources, on what European cities are actually getting right — and bringing that back to the community it belongs to, in Cluj.
2024 → 2025
In 2024, Loredana Vale and Robert Eduard Antal entered CommuniCon, the PR and advertising competition organised by FSPAC, Babeș-Bolyai University — and won first place.
The brief came with a mandate: to represent the online image of the Eurocities Annual Conference 2024, hosted by Cluj-Napoca from 29–31 May 2024, where city representatives from across Europe gathered on the eve of the European elections.
FutureHubs.eu was built for that mandate. We interviewed officials and delegates who came to Cluj, and documented the nine cities nominated for the Eurocities Awards.
We began the legal work in May 2024 intending to form a foundation, then changed course to an association — the structure that fits an organisation built on members rather than endowment. Asociația Future Hubs was granted legal personality on 30 June 2025.

The statute defines four kinds of membership. Applications go to the president and are confirmed by the Council.

Full voting rights in the General Assembly; each holds a project or field of activity.
